The Deutsch EvoMax* range is the next evolution of the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III filter connector. Deutsch has reviewed 20 years of experience in working on customer-specific applications to identify all the bespoke product features that have been utilized. High performance metal shelled DBC hermetic receptacle qualified to MIL-C-26482 Series II; intermates with all qualified Series II plugs.  Features Deutsch-developed direct glass-to-metal sealing and solder pot or eyelet terminated pin type contacts--extended pins available. Designed around the MIL-DTL-83723 series of high performance threaded connectors, the Deutsch DEC line was developed to withstand the extreme environmental conditions encountered by today’s high performance aircraft engines.  Fine coupling ring thread is designed for positive self-locking; ratchet performance tends to tighten under vibration; metal-to-metal bottoming reduces relative motion between connector bodies, increasing performance in high vibration environments. 

Connector interface sealing meets the full fluid sealing properties of MIL-DTL-83723. Standard seals suitable for use in a 200° environment; the high temperature version operates in a 260° setting.  “Riser and champher” design individually isolates each contact.

Utilizes crimp type contacts inserted and removed from rear of connector.  Thermocouple contacts available. Hermetic versions have a variety of wire terminations options like PCB tail, eyelet and solder pots.

Replaceable RFI strips, scoop-proof option to eliminate damage from plug and receptacle mating mismatch.
